The Personal Trainers at Sidhu Fitness, utilise a Lifestyle Assessment Tool in their work. Completing a Lifestyle Assessment evaluates your life situation, stress factors, your ability to recover and the effectiveness of exercise in your everyday life.
Your Lifestyle Assessment (3-day measurement, comprehensive reporting, feedback, action points and follow-up) helps your trainer fully understand your needs. It also helps to address several of the key factors that form well-being: recovery, exercise, and nutrition.
The time you have with your trainer each week is limited, so by using the 3-day assessment we can see more of what’s going on for you, adjust your plan accordingly and help you to take your training to the next level.
We can establish how well you recover after exercise, what aids that recovery and ensure you are balancing your workouts with periods of rest, quality sleep and balanced nutrition.

External demands such as work or family, can hinder your progress, but once these issues have been highlighted during your assessment, tweaks can be made to your plan to give you the best possible chance of success.

Sidhu Fitness Lifestyle Assessment indicates the effectiveness of exercise, gives pointers for modifying the training program as needed and provides information about your quality of sleep and recovery during the day.
OCCUPATIONAL WELL-BEING FOR COMMERCIAL CLIENTS
In addition to personal training, Sidhu Fitness offers Lifestyle Assessments as part of an occupational well-being service for commercial clients.
Our assessments are suitable for a variety of customer groups. It can be utilized as an occupational wellness project for the whole company, or to explore the well-being of the company’s management, key personnel or a specific small group.
SEEING RESULTS MOTIVATES CHANGE.
Our Lifestyle Assessments can reveal the effects of your lifestyle choices. We often overestimate how healthy our lifestyle is, but real, tangible results are hard to argue with.
A fitness assessment alone, does not tell us everything about your well-being. It is just as important to consider your ability to recover, for if your recovery is not adequate, you cannot expect your training to progress at the desired speed.
One of the things we focus on is analysing the effect of each workout.
The assessment illustrates the benefits of your chosen activities, for you. If the intensity of your workout is too high, we can adjust it to support the improvement of your physical condition. The effect of any given exercise is individual. For some people, taking the dog out for a walk is good exercise, whereas for others it may not be enough to improve their aerobic fitness.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR LIFESTYLE, HELPS US TO CARE MORE.
Each of our client’s circumstances are as unique as they are. For example, one of our clients had a habit of relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. It was only once we had completed her Lifestyle Assessment, that we were able to establish that she hadn’t been sleeping properly because of the alcohol.
A lot of our clients believe their sleep hygiene is good because they sleep for an adequate amount of time, but what they don’t realise, is that the quality of their sleep may be impacting their general well-being. This could be for a variety of reasons, including too much blue light from screentime too late in the evening.
Once the consequences of their actions have been pointed out, most clients work towards correcting their behaviour and making better choices.
